this guy seems pretty happy and well-adjusted. i think i'll look into his religion, maybe it will make me happy and well adjusted.
actually the guy is scary looking, scary sounding, bitter and a bit of a sociopath i'd say. this video would be a good way to scare people away from atheism, if thats what you want to do.
i'd like to see him in a video with those christian side-huggers. he'd probably pull a blade and stab them. carve an "a" in their moronic, happy little foreheads. you'd probably like that.
this is not atheism, it's misanthropy.
"taxi driver".
It didn't make you laugh?
nope. and you know me- no funeez, no likeez.
while i'm here: is there any point in complaining about this guys rant about moses getting lost in the desert on scholarly grounds? i mean you can always use the tds excuse- "i'ts only comedy".
but i've heard you mention it too and i'm curious: do you really think that's a valid argument, taking the story on it's own merits (which include many reasons for and descriptions of israel's wanderings, none of which involve being "lost")? it certainly is a funny image, i just wondered if you thought there was anything more to it than that. i mean, there are plenty of funny images that really do exist in the text, i don't see any need to make up more, other than purely for humor- which is not, as far as i can tell, what the guy in this video is going for.
Good satire requires at least a basic understanding of the subject. This just makes atheists look stupid.
