I like all the boards except the Republican because I don't understand that one...why no kings or queens?
In reply to Jillbryant, the republican one is not republican as in republican party, but republican as in democratic republic or representative democracy, at least the way I see it. Thus, there is no king and queen because its a free society rather then under monarch rule as with the classic king queen setup.
What I wonder is what a Confederation setup would look like, since it would probably just be a cluster of militias rather then a single standing army
The marxist chess would be interesting, but how would you win?
And then there's the NeoCon chessboard where the bishops are really queens and the queens are hidden. : )
