No it is not distrubing that they volunteered their time to bring in a larger crowd to a charity event.
They were speaking at the Alfred E. Smith memorial dinner which raises money for providing support and aid to the poor, sick and underprivledge of New York.
That's great its for charity, I am talking about the atmosphere... the jokes they are making are of serious shit.. our country is on the brink of dire straits and financial ruin.. and these guys have THE TIME to be making jokes???? not to speak of making light of some serious issues.... its ridicilous
I find it refreshing. Laughing is an essential part of life, and anyone who takes himself so seriously he can't laugh at himself once in a while has no place in leadership.
I guess I am unique on this, I don't find it refreshing at all.. I noticed there are others that find it very inappropriate as well... o well that's the beauty of opinions and expression... I respect and actually can see where you and Akira are coming from... It just doesn't give me a good feeling to see this I guess.
