Can anyone chime in on if they have said it and I missed it? WHY Have the democrats not come out especially after yesterday and today's economic troubles and news say the following:
- our economy is in the worst state since the depression because of 8 years of bush/cheney and a lie of a war
- THE WAR has depleted this country and that is why we are where we are.
- It is because of Bush/Cheney and the GOP who let their energy buddies STEAL from the American people with gas prices and electricity costs that the economy is in the shitter
WHY WHY WHY NOT COME OUT AND SAY IT????

Yes, the message does seem to be a bit middled lately. Mocking the latest McCain comment, trying to win the news cycle, making jokes at rallies about lobbyists in McCain's campaign. That said, much of the above has been said many times on the stump (tax breaks for oil companies, etc.), and the clips we hear about on the news and on TV are usually the newer, more aggressive, attacking comments.
Besides, I don't think that the American people need any more convincing that Bush screwed up; they know that already. What hasn't been proven in their minds:
Obama can do a lot better, even as young and new and liberal as he is.
McCain's just like Bush.
Divided government is worse than a Dem president and a Dem Congress.
I think enough people will be convinced enough for Obama to win, but it will be harder than just recounting the many screwups of the Bush years.
