I've now watched the first four lessons in this series and recommend it. So far he's done an excellent job explaining the constructed nature of the way we view the world and the dangers that poses as well as the constructed nature of memory and the problems that follow from that.

The discussion of Benford’s law is more interesting than if the Russian election was fixed or not.

I wouldn't know where to begin in commenting on this story.

comment: well, the Putin vote from Chechnia came in at 107% of all eligible voters, so almost anything is more interesting than the question of whether or not that election was fixed.

I mean really, after all these years, you'd think Putin would know that election fixing is s'pozed to come in under 100%.
