Mr. Deity and the Signs



I can't deal with the lack of a narrative from episode to episode. The ideas and writing are clever, the acting is funny enough, I just want them to reach for it, no matter how overt, contrived or clunky it is.

I can see why they were pushing for the series. There is a limit to the sketch comedy format, and how far you can go without wearing out clever dialog without a larger narrative.
