Out of curiosity, I Googled up the map that Dawkins seems to be using:

I wouldn't call that "very different"
They categorize things differently and may use some different maping data. People don't live in map bubbles so all lines are fuzzy and can be drawn different ways.
Okay, just "different" instead of "very different" then! ;)
