Iran Accuses Five of Warring Against God

At least five protesters arrested in Iran last week during antigovernment demonstrations will be tried on charges of warring against God, which carries an automatic death sentence if they are found guilty, Iran's judiciary said Thursday.

You've got to love it, you war against god and the timid old bastard has to send surrogates to do his dirty work.

These guys probably don't realize they are setting the stage for a civil war. They kill one protester/dissenter and create ten new enemies in the process. The clock is ticking. Once upon a time Saddam Hussein was their worst enemy with them spent most of their time anticipating his next attack. Then he got deposed by some foreign government which turned Iran's governing body loose to saber-rattle at the world and turn on their populace. The next few years should be interesting.

I must admit, this is one of the most insane charges I have ever heard. It makes witchcraft charges look downright logical.
