for pedantsareus: i recommend an array of sharpened bamboo sticks in the fireplace. you can cover them with your own feces so if the bastard gets away, he'll die soon enough on an emergency room floor somewhere, lacking health insurance.

Thank you for the advice, Jonathan, but as I live in Britian, if Santa visits me and gets injured he won't need Health Insurance as we welcome everyone into our financially stretched NHS. Even Madonna was welcomed at one point.
