I'm slightly confused. I know he stated that he would vote for John McCain, though it seemed awfully sarcastic.
So is he voting for McCain or actually Obama?

Colbert the man.
The character would never do it, I suppose.
the character endorses Obama; the man votes for O.
I just read someone compare Stewart to Jonathan Swift, but I think that Colbert takes that prize. Stewart is more court jester; Colbert is much more seering in his satire.
