Pay no attention to the men and women behind the curtain!
I am right over their shoulder.
Peggy Noonan may be a Republican, but she has been surprisingly supportive of Obama this election cycle. It's clear to me that she likes Obama. And Mike Murphy has been more forthcoming about how he actually feels than most partisan spokespersons who do nothing other repeat the party talking points.
Sometimes it really is the exception that proves the rule.
"Peggy Noonan may be a Republican, but she has been surprisingly supportive of Obama this election cycle."
Maybe, but did you hear what Noonan said right before that? "We're a country made up of Wasillas more than Chicagos". On a scale of stupid arguments offered up by people because they're shamelessly shilling for their side, that's a 9 or a 10. The off-the-charts absurdity of the Palin defenders continues unabated, and it's coming from people who know much much better.
The reason shills like Noonan and Murphy are able to step outside the spin is because they're exposed to the inter-nicine feuds that ordinary people don't hear. Within the GOP, a lot of people got the shaft with the Palin pick, and they're not believing the hype.
Another interesting thing is that Chuck Todd, the moderator, as like it's business as usual when his pundits only say what they think when the segment's over. And yet the media calls the conventions "infomercials".The commentary is an infomericial.
Palin v. Reality
Great link. This quote almost made me puke last night..
I don't know how this kind of claim can be made, such a bold-faced lie. And I promise it will be repeated ad-nauseum.
