Very interesting. John McCain has fucked up so many times the last year, yet the corporate media always stood by him. This week he has a brief career as a populist, and lo and behold! The elites turn on him like that. Sure, you can interpret this many ways, but to me it seems like the corporate media is punishing McCain for flip-floping on his pro-elite economic philosophy.

Maybe I'm indulging in wishful thinking here, but this could be the end for McCain. The public certainly isn't buying his new populist rhetoric. And without the support from the powers that be, including the corporate media, he won't stand a chance.
