The Bush administration has proposed the most expensive government spending plan in American history, allocating as much as $700 billion to a Wall Street bailout. The proposal was attacked by members of both parties, who immediately began negotiations to find an alternative. The Bush plan was not only a political blunder; it was also a complete repudiation of the administration's own economic policies. It could not be justified by any of the core beliefs governing free enterprise and the free market.

Kucinich was great, and i don't like Kucinich, problem with him and Nader is what exactly should we do now? Should we just let the markets collapse and try and fix the system? I just don't understand this enough to really have an opinion.
Does anyone have a non partisan link to really explain to me the risk benefits of all this?
I also think that the dems should just get some data on wall street execs and their compensation and how little taxes they pay on it, to demonstrate how unequal the current system is, how it really does protect the rich.
