I wonder, does Campbell Brown belong on Fox news? And does it get any worse?

This is the same airhead Campbell Brown who gleefully welcomed Dana Milbank tonight, announcing that she'd be seeing a lot more of him, just as this very evening Olbermann announced that "We had decided not to have Dana on this news- hour again until this was cleared up, and, sadly after some very happy years, he's apparently chosen to make that cloud permanent.".

Olbermann was referring to the following:

For nearly a week we'd been waiting for him to offer a correction or an explanation for his column from last week in which he apparently reported an Obama quote without a full context turned the`meaning of the quote inside-out.

Then he called criticisms of his column "whines" even though the dispute was over whether Obama said the self-deprecating: "It has become increasingly clear in my travel, the campaign -- that the crowds, the enthusiasm, 200,000 people in Berlin, is not about me at all. It's about America. I have just become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions" -- or only the part about "I have just become a symbol..."

This is the same Dana Milbank who said the following on July 26, 2008

House Democrats had called the session, given the anodyne title "Executive Power and Its Constitutional Limitations," to allow the left wing to vent its collective spleen. The left, led by diminutive Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), wants impeachment proceedings against the lame-duck president.

Describing Kucinich as being "diminutive" was inappropriate.

Milbank then goes on to say:

But the anger management session seemed to satisfy the left-wingers

And as for Campbell Brown belonging on FOX News, well how about Glenn Beck and Lou Dobbs?

Are you saying you actually want a cable news channel that always agrees with you? Seems to me that is the problem with Fox, only it mainly caters to the right wingers who only want to hear their opinion reinforced. Aren't you better than that?

Given the hours we've spent discussing issues over the years (usually from opposite sides of the fence), I think we've demonstrated profound respect for each other. Whatever the outcome of this election, I look forward to you getting out of this funk you've been in lately.
