Good for PBS. With Bravo doing crap like "Project Runway", "Millionaire Matchmaker" and Real Housewifes of Orange County, A&E doing "Gene Simmons: Family Jewels" and other HBO-lite style programming - there is a serious glut of "high-brow" entertainment. (Still doesn't make me want to get a TV though).

What's funny is the last panel of Mr. Fish's is probably the way he should have been feeling all along....

Americans (maybe everyone?) raise people up way too high and then drop them down way too low when the appropriate response is somewhere in the middle....

Mr Fish Cartoon explains to us why there is no difference between any candidate. So why even bother to vote? Hillary Clinton, Obama, Edwards, George w Bush... All the same..

And from what I can tell, based upon the posts here at onegoodmove, there is no real difference between McCain and Obama. From what I can tell, they're both jerks. Thus, why vote for one over the other.

You can call me a troll all that you want Jill, but I call it as I see it. And as I see it, there are many on the left who spend more time bashing Obama than they do bashing McCain. And their complaints about Obama are more trenchant than their complaints about McCain.

Please JoAnn... try to be more charitable in interpreting comments. I have no doubt most readers/posters here understand the lesser-of-two-evils concept. I urge you again to relax more about the general election, and concentrate on what can be done at the local level, where you have more control.

Laughing a little more is also better for your carotids... http://www.theonion.com/content/video/today_now_how_to_pretend_you_give?utm_source=embedded_video

As long as PBS continues to encourage its investigative journalism, I'm very much in favor of more arts programming. I'm a little biased: I'm a former ballet dancer, I'm too old and fat now, so I teach.

You can call me a troll all that you want Jill, but I call it as I see it. And as I see it, there are many on the left who spend more time bashing Obama than they do bashing McCain.

And you spend more time bashing people here than you do McCain. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever heard you say anything negative about McCain.

Quit trolling yourself, Jill. I've always been a big fan of many of the posters here, esp. the people critical of any candidate (no matter what letter is affixed after their name).

General patterns emerge -- esp. those that value evidence-based policy over those that favor ideology. Whatever I can do to favor the former, I will gladly do.

As it turns out... my county is percolating into some kind of battleground for our state. So it may make a difference HOW I cast my vote (which would be a break with the past).

So I URGE you onegood move readers... for spaghetti's sake -- what the hell does your local situation LOOK LIKE??!?!

Given the bullshit electoral college system you slave under, does it make sense to try to trade your vote with someone else?

This is one of the first times in history that we have a chance to truly "game" the system -- how can we have our fucking cake and eat it too?

Quit trolling yourself, Jill.

I didn't realize I was trolling. You did see the article on trolling back there, right?

I've always been a big fan of many of the posters here, esp. the people critical of any candidate (no matter what letter is affixed after their name).
Not relevant to my comment but I'll shut up.

The logic puzzle was easier than I would have expected from 1GM, but still, thanks for posting it.
