A Book For You

I've read it; I enjoyed it; would you like it? The book is

  • The Enchantress Of Florence by Salman Rushdie

  • And the winner is Bryce

I'll take all requests for the book left in the comments during the next 24 hours, or so, and then use a random number generator to determine the winner. I'll then ship the book at my expense to the winner. The offer is limited to residents of the U.S. and Canada. My apologies to my good friends in other countries but the cost of shipments to other destinations is simply too high.

Note:The offer is open only to registered comments others will be ignored. Please make it clear if you want to be considered for the book or are just commenting.

Considering Salman Rushdie is one of my all time favorites and yet I've not read that one yet I'd love to be considered. If there are any other readers who express interest I'd recommend sending them the copy as I'd not get a chance to read it for a while. But, if for some odd reason there are no other serious interests I'd be delighted!

Thanks so much for the offer.

i would be interested in the book. thank you!

I've always been interested in reading some Rushdie.

As a kid, I always thought he had done something wrong which is why he had to hide. I've always wondered if it was because I was a kid and my lack of interest/knowledge, or if at the time he was portrayed as doing something wrong in the Utah news.

    Hand raised over here.

I would like to be in the running for this book, please.

    Consider me, please. Thanks.

    I am interested. Thanks!

Sounds great; throw my ticket in, please.

This one I'm interested in. Thanks for these Norm.

Like that Rushdie! Hope I win.

I would like to be in this drawing. Thanks a lot.

O random number generator, please pick my name for the book! Blessed be the generator.

i'd be thrilled for a chance at Rushdie's new book.

count me in, and much thanks norm.

I heard Sir Rushdie on NPR earlier this summer talking about the book, it sounds quite interesting.
