Let me see if I've got this straight:
We've got a reporter (port-a-potty) reporting on a reporter (Moyers) at a reporting conference for another reporter (O'Reilley) and it's all being covered by one final reporter (Olbermann).
This is one sick circle-jerk!
Thanks for reporting this Norm!
Syngas, the video was recorded by a blogger, if that helps.
I guess there's always room for one more ;)
REPORTED!
Sorry - I completely disagree with you, Syngas. I think O'Reilly trying to discredit one of the few journalists (that would be Bill Moyers in case you can't follow what is going on here) who is reporting what is going on, who is trying to change what is happening in media today ---- I think that is worth watching a clip about. This is the second reporter (I'm referring to port-a-potty here) that O'Reilly has sent out (no - he doesn't go himself - all the better to distort and smear). This wasn't just a convention for reporting - it was the national convention on media reform - something most journalists aren't that interesting in. Keith Olbermann was bringing O'Reilly's actions to a larger audience.
I'm glad to see what is going on. What is the quote about light being the best disinfectant?
Sadly, this link is no longer available through msnbc.com, it says "Due to usage restrictions..."
It is currently available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nnx3TejdL70.
Also, a site called The Uptake has a longer unedited version of their conversation (as does YouTube/Google Video, as I'm sure you can imagine).
Here is an O'Reilly clip with the Jesse interview Porter brings up, whom Moyers refers to as "my old friend Jesse". I find it difficult to watch on account of O'Reilly's flagrant antagonism and that Malkin character being given airtime.
Here is an old Tina Fey/SNL clip that mentions O'Reilly and the Anti-Defamation League and his sexcapades. Take a look if you have a chance.... http://www.hulu.com/watch/1618/saturday-night-live-weekend-update
