It seems like every time I visit this site, it's always the same old Hillary-bashing you've always done.

She has lost. Get over it, and get behind the Democratic nominee.

:)

Amy P's impression is so off, if I didn't know she was imitating HRC I'd be confused at her portrayal.

Come to think of it, most all of Amy's impressions are off.

Who watches SNL, anyway?

"She wouldn't do that; it doesn't make any sense..."

I think that sums up the last two months very nicely.

Who watches SNL, anyway?

Alas, it was so good back in the day, but not any more!

If her imitation was off, it was because of the self-conscious irony with which it was delivered.

this is off topic, but did anyone see that Leiberman took McCain's side recently? Obama had criticized McCain for trying to smear with him with a muslimphobia comment concerning Hamas, had said that Mccain had his bearings off. Leiberman basically said that Obama was intemperate.

Why the hell did Obama support Leiberman back in 2006 (when it was unpopular to do so)? That lying, two faced pro-Israel (antiAmerica's interest)-Bush lackey should've been shoved under a train, but instead, Obama supported him. What good it did. Take a look: http://www.boston.com/news/local/connecticut/articles/2006/03/31/obamaralliesstatedemocratsthrowssupportbehind_lieberman/

and

from today's NYTimes

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/12/us/politics/11cnd-campaign.html

as a non-rascist clinton supporter i found this video rather insulting.

Joe Lieberman is one of many reasons Democrats need to fight to increase their majority in the Senate this year. The more Democrats we have in the Senate, the more the Dem leadership can marginalize that piece of shit.

You can put in links of indefinite length by imbedding the URL within the right html command. The easiest way to see how that is done is to view the source file (html) for this page and look how I did it. Here is your NY Times link.

SNL is so bad. This was one of the few skits that night that did not include crotch/gay/sex humor.

This skit was just lame and unfunny. We're you posting this so we could call it out for being so bad? Or were you curious about how we would react?

Norm, your Hillary bashing crusade is getting tiresome. ;-)

I am frightened that Hillary will actually do 1 of the things listed in the sketch:

not support Obama or campaign for him in a half hearted and resentful way.

The votes have been cast and Obama will be the Democrat with the most popular support for the democratic presidential ticket. I don't think the clintons want to give up the helm of the Democratic party. Obviously some parts of the skit are meant to be funny due to how ridiculous they are (Clinton voters being racist). The thing is that some parts of the skit are frightening in that they might actually happen (Clinton giving a half hearted support to Obama).

I really hope that I am wrong on this.

@humina - other parts of the skit are funny because they are, in part, true. to suggest that hillary's poor uneducated whites support has nothing to do with racism is ridiculous. americans need to accept their racism before getting past it.

anyone notice the conspicuous absence of snl clips on cable news this week? what is up with that? it's not what cable news would consider newsworthy? unlikely, more likely they don't want attention brought to the fact that no one is talking about racism, as if it doesn't exist.

history will shake its head at this state of denial.

anyone notice the conspicuous absence of snl clips on cable news this week?

I don't have a TV, but I kind of imagined they'd be [gleefully] overwhelmed with natural disaster stories at the moment.

Unless you were kidding. We're you kidding?

user-pic

@quaternion - regretfully 24 hour cable news has time for whatever it wants regardless of any overabundance of life or death news. i would guess the nomination race has more coverage than any current disaster zone, perhaps all the disaster zones combined.

my point would have been better made had i pointed out the week long wall to wall coverage of the last few nomination race skits snl aired.

so no, i wasn't kidding :)

so no, i wasn't kidding :)

Oh. Wow, that is pathetic.

The skit seems a bit too dead-on to really qualify as "satire."
