So, despite all the handwringing about how "dumb our kids are today" (the link posted a few days ago), researchers have found that written language is not at danger in the hands of our dumb kids

This reminds me of Noam Chomsky citing the US Army manual for a definition of terrorism: "the calculated use of violence or threat of violence to attain goals that are political, religious, or ideological in nature. This is done through intimidation, coercion, or instilling fear."
Long before he's done reading the definition, it's so obvious to all listening that the US is the biggest terrorist state in the world by its own definition.

So... maybe Bush has been reading Chomsky lately. Hehehe.

I almost always agree with everything Olbermann says, but still... I just can't stand the guy. If you have something serious to tell me, say it in a calm voice. Don't shout it at me as if I'm a stupid person in need of correction. You sound exactly like the right-wing pundits I most despise.
(Yes, there is a fair bit of shouting on Stewart and Colbert, but it happens in a context of satire/humour/jokeyness.)

Good for Olbermann for taking Bush to task once again, but I have to disagree that the nation was yolked into the war. Sadly, too many U. S. citizens were all for getting Sadaam no matter the cost.
Our legislature hiding from their votes - they damn well should run - run as FAR away as they can get from the "patriotic" vote that pushed us into Iraq. If they couldn't see that Bush and Co. was bullshitting the nation, shame on THEM.
At least KO does recognize that those who dared disagree with the BS were thrown under the bus, so to speak.
As for the Bush presidential library - what will be in it? My pet Goat???

I think Bush should keep playing golf -- after all, war is like a long par four.
