A Book For You
I tried to give this book away a couple of weeks ago, but alas the winner never claimed his prize and so now I'm offering it again. The book is The Metaphysical Club: A Story of Ideas in America by Louis Menand
And the winner is dmonfan. Please send me your name and address information by E-mail.
I'll take all requests for the books left in the comments during the next 24 hours, or so, and then use a random number generator to determine the winners. I'll then ship the book at my expense to the winners. The offer is limited to residents of the U.S. and Canada. My apologies to my good friends in other countries but the cost of shipments to other destinations is simply too high.
Note:The offer is open only to registered comments others will be ignored. Please make it clear if you want to be considered for the book or are just commenting.

Hello, Norm. Long, long, long long, long, time reader but my first time commenting (admitingly to get something for free). This certainly won't be the last as I've really admired the discussion here.

I'm interested in the book drawing. Keep up the interesting blog!

I'll try again for this book, Norm - thanks.
BTW, it is good to hear from readers who are infrequent writers here. It is nice (and sobering) to know that we who write often are not just talking to ourselves all the time.

Man, I had that book and read it when it came out. Loved. It. But then I lost it when I moved.
Hook me up Norm!

I would like to be included in the drawing
Thanks again for offering these books, Norm. Not only is the selection great so far, but encouraging people to read - not just blogs such as this - but books as well I think is vastly important.

The metaphysical club is a tetrad. Perhaps it's metatetraphysical.
