Oddly, because I don't normally care much for him, the first Kimmel joke make me snort the loudest.

All bad…didn't care for any of them.
I had a chance to see Craig Fergunson's speech in the White House Correspondents' Dinner. I have lost all respect for him. First of all, this dinner should not exist in the current format. We've been at war for the last 5 years and yet not once it was cancelled or at least the President should not be invited. Also, any man worth his soul should not participate in this dinner if he is the President in time of war. Secondly, Fergunson's was so scared of making fun of Bush that it seems like he was afraid of losing his newly gained citizenship. Finally, Stephen Colbert's speech two years ago will go down in history as one of the great one in that silly event. Stephen can walk with his head high as he didn't sell out which is more than I can say for Fergunson.

Notably audible is the lack of applause when Letterman noted Springsteen had endorsed Obama. Had this been two months ago, the applause would have been racuous. Now, but a few claps. What does that tell you?

The Boss isn't as popular as he once was?
But you're right -even Letterman continued with his scripted applause line. I bet he would have said "I'm not done" even if he heard crickets chirping...

Actually NYC has been a fairly mixed crowd all along.
