I love to know what George was thinking after Stewart made that crack at him. He has to know what a joke the debate was.
I have an idea, which I got from Matthew Yglesias (though it's not that revelatory): have self-identified liberals moderate primary debates. Don't get open supporters of either side, but at least get people who are not going to be taking questions from Sean Hannity. Hillary may have liked these "patriot"-baiting questions but 95% of liberals don't.

I know the Google Ads have prompted a lot of comment in the past - and I guess that you don't have anything to say about their content Norm. I can't help it - the blonde with the big tits promoting Christian singles is a scream on this blog. :)

LOL!
Yes, we're all looking for a "safe Christian community"...
And then there's this ad on the sidebar:

I didn't even understand Letterman's. Colbert was amazing this week, but between just these, I'd give it to Stewart.

A different note - Leno's comment really bugged me because he seemed to be quite the Bush supporter early on (I'm not a fan so I didn't watch enough to tell for certain...)

My vote goes to Letterman. Only joke that made me laugh out loud.
Susan, it's a reference to the Red Sox fan who buried a Boston jersey in the concrete of the new Yankee Stadium currently under construction. Fan said he hoped to permanently jinx Yankee Stadium.
Yankees spent $10,000 to dig up the concrete and retrieve it.

So I see non of you are boycotting "This Week". So much for outrage. Now if you really want to get back at ABC/Disney, then think about boycotting Wall-e in the theater only as message to Disney. If you guys are just going to go back to business as usual then ABC will do this again and again. The rating of ABC should be down massively. I know Norm has get his little clicks but come on.

It saddens me that George can simply laugh this off as a speed bump. The laugh's on me. Ho ho. Back to failing upwards in life.

"I know the Google Ads have prompted a lot of comment in the past - and I guess that you don't have anything to say about their content Norm."
Yes let's not get into complaining about the ads. My take on it is that groups like the McCain campaign or the Christian Singles website are mostly wasting their money on his blog, so it's all good anyway.
I'm not boycotting ABC. My opinion of them has gone down quite a notch, but I don't have the memory or the alterantive options to go around blacklisting every outlet that screws up. If ABC pays some price, it will unfortunately not be from declining ratings or profit margins do to viewers with high standards tuning out.
