well, it goes through the motions as if Flash has downloaded, but no go. I have OS 10.4.11. Why?

My mother works at an Army base assisting Soldiers who have been raped.

Imagine this TRUE story: You are a female soldier in Afghanistan. You dispose of bombs and other ordinance every day. Your Commanding Officer is your partner and he keeps you safe. He keeps you alive. Day by day.

He is also raping you.

When you get back to the states, you don't press charges, but seek counciling. Why?

"because no one cares"

100% true story. And this woman is going back to Anghanistan.

Another woman was raped by her CO methodically. He used to send her cell phone pics of himself anally raping her. Eventually this was used against him in court, but only to prove that he had been disloyal to his wife (a minor but punishable offense in the military). No rape was ever proven, despite the damage physically done to the woman. (again, 100% true.)

I am very pleased to see this story get national attention. Hopefully it will empower women who honorably serve our nation.

Next up. If we don't care about our own female soldiers. How much do we care about the indiginous people? (note: I have no stories about this, but I do keep wondering)
