Bill Maher rocks! He's a master..

Jeez...he used to be funny. The last few episodes of his show make him look like a played-out pothead with no new shtick. With all the material the world has to offer right now, he has to rely on old favorites: weed jokes, lame sexual innuendo, the perils of eating meat, and how women drive him just nutty. When he did the bit about how a man is not a woman's purse, I couldn't help but wonder who wouldn't be calling Bill for a 2nd date after he acted like a prick when she asked him to hold her purse while she paid for parking.

He not only used to be funnier but sharper.

First off, he really has to drop any health-related jokes because even though he's a rationalist when it comes to religion he's a mystic when it comes to health. The bull he's spouting about medicine has forever spoilt anything he'd ever say about "science"..

Plus, he's mostly better when he's showing some genuine ire. And there are still plenty of worthy enemies: pompous know-nothing pundits, right-wing talk-radio, greedy capitalists, anti-abortion zealots, climate-change deniers, the dying but still kicking Bush administration - you name it. He should watch some Olbermann or Stewart.

But "the president is the dumbest retarded moron on this planet" won't be enough anymore, Bill.

Can you post the Matt Taibbi in Ohio part?

That I thought was the most powerful part of the show, because it showed how disconnected people's votes are from how they feel about issues like the economy, etc.
