He's just like the communists that turned capitalist after the wall fell who said that they were against communism the whole time. This guy just makes me angry.

How can anyone believe that this man has any political views of his own? He's a fucking windsock!

his old views: http://mediamatters.org/items/200512230005

misinformer of the year: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1546227/posts

I love how the Shias are the radical Huckabee wing while the "More moderate Sunnis", you know, the Wahabists and Bin Laden and Pakistan and the ones who flew planes into buildings and aren't they killing more of our soldiers than the Shias? Those are the more moderates. Oh those lovable middle of the road Talibanis.

He looks like some sort of albino mole creature.

Also why the fuck are they talking about the candidates' personalities? Wasn't that the mistake America made with George "Have a beer with me" Bush?

I don't give a fuck whether Hillary or Obama are the life of every party.

I care about their policies, and whether or not those policies are going to destroy the world as we know it.

Let's stop talking about her smile or her fashion sense (or that she has two X chromosomes) and talk about how Hillary voted for the Iraq War or how her policies will affect civil liberties.

Also why the fuck are they talking about the candidates' personalities?

This is Leno, after all - these guests are not invited on to talk about anything else. But of course, you're absolutely right it was depressing to watch him. When Matthews talks 'politics' on so-called news shows, he is pretty much the same way. The politicians' positions are discussed in totally stupid generalized terms - the Shia/Sunni/Kurd analogy was incredibly dumb - that anyone who watched guys like Matthews as their primary source of news wouldn't have the slightest idea what is going on in the world.

You could through his interview and find a dozen really stupid things without breathing hard, but he is so superficial it isn't worth the trouble.

I've never really understood "white man guilt" until I just heard him talk about the "nobody wants obama to win more than us white guys"

Matthews is a joke. He is to politics what Entertainment Tonight is to Movies.

Let's stop talking about her smile or her fashion sense (or that she has two X chromosomes) and talk about how Hillary voted for the Iraq War or how her policies will affect civil liberties.

This is what is frustrating about these Cable news shows. The entire debate tuesday night was focused on policy and positions each candidate had, and what do people like Chris Matthews talk about afterword? How hillary attacked bush. COME ON! Each candidate laid out several policy decisions, and NOBODY on these pundit shows talked about it. Stupid.

LOL!!! That's exactly what I was thinking when he mentioned that.

^The top paragraph should've been in blockquotes. Grrr!

And here's what the White House was saying back in 2006

The terrorists who attacked us on September the 11th, 2001, are men without conscience -- but they're not madmen. They kill in the name of a clear and focused ideology, a set of beliefs that are evil, but not insane. These al Qaeda terrorists and those who share their ideology are violent Sunni extremists

Suddenly the Sunnis are our buddies. Do we really know what the hell we're doing over there?

And check out this response made by "cvkjn" on Januray 17, 2007..

we have been arming and training one faction against the other, calling the shia "iraqi" and the sunni "terrorist".

My, how the conversation between us Americans has changed since that time...

Personality DOES matter because at the end of the day, you're managing people and systems of people with representatives. You have to lead them with influence, not with power. So yeah, personality matters a lot.

Now, you just need a person with personality who also has will power, independence, and who has actualized enough to have the vision to take the country to the next level.
