Special Comment
Keith is on a roll. "Marionette or Moron", no rather a "manipulative Machiavellian Snake Oil Salesman." Check out Truth and Consequences: Special Comments on the Bush Administration's War on American Values

Countdown w/Keith Olbermann

Comments
I think part of this video is cut off. At the end he says "My comments are often dismissed as simple repetitions the phrase..." and then it just cuts off. Is part of this missing?
But he wants Hillary to be the next president. If Hillary did the same thing, would he give a "special comment" to the similar degree? I certainly have a hard time imagining it.
“...'George Bush has no business being president' Well guess what? Tonight, hanged by your own words and convicted by your own deliberate lies, you sir, have no business being president. Goodnight, and good luck."
I am a bit confused about why Olbermann included President Cleveland on his list.
Same here. We don't have to get overly partisan here; Cleveland wasn't exactly a great president. But he certainly wasn't your typical Gilded Age big business enabler.
Anyway, nothing/nobody compares to Dubya...
Cut off at end? Yeah, my TiVo didn't get the end of it either. Keith ran a little long on the show and TiVo couldn't adjust.

Re: Grover Cleveland
And then there's this little quote from Grover Cleveland:
I was indeed cut off. It is now fixed.
JoAnn, I just want you to know I wait in anticipation for your intelligent comments. You speak with facts and patience for other points of view. I appreciate the civility you bring to the blogs conversations.
Thank you
Ah shucks, thank you cmmm.
Aw, sometimes I feel a li'l sorry for W. When he makes comments like this in his little simplistic ways, I start to imagine Rove and Cheney saying, "Sure, Georgie boy, we'll help you be president. Just do what we say." Before long, li'l Georgie realizes he's in over his head, and maybe some of the things he's saying aren't quite - quite - what's the word? ackrit?
But now he's dug in too deep, and he agreed to the terms, so say all this crap he will. The ignorant gaffs are cries for help that we the people just can't seem to notice.
For some reason, this scenario seems nicer to me than the mess we're actually in.
Btw, in an earlier post, calli went on about reading the NIE report and mentioned that it referred to Iran as being a danger numerous times. Maybe s/he has access to recent government files. I went fishing on line for a copy, and only the July report surfaced (as a pdf - sorry, no url; google it for yourself). The July report spent most of the time explaining its language and processes and very little time on Iran. Anybody got a line on a more recent report that I could read?
