That statement sounds similar to the question, is the opposite of love hate? or indifferences?
As a Christian, I vote not for religion, but based on core convictions. They can speak of Christ all they want. Such as if a reverend were to run for president, he would not be fit for such a position. So I am voting for someone that can run this country. Not just speak about it.
In the UK census of 2001 there was a question about religious affiliation, and a large number of respondents filled the answer in as "Jedi". see : http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/1589133.stm
