Outstanding movie, excellent scene.
I agree, this movie is wonderful. It's, and I hate using this word, riveting. This scene is my favorite as well, though the lines after these are better in my opinion, but that would give away too much.
Anyone else notice that there was no score to this film at all? I had to have someone point it out to me afterwords, because I was so into the movie I never picked up on it.
Can someone post the script to this scene? I really can't make out some parts.
Brilliant film.
I was a little disappointed. Not my favorite Coen Bros film by far... (that's "Oh Brother")

I remember this from the book; haven't seen the movie yet. It really defined Chigurh's twisted metaphysical "bad-assness". Riveting on film and in print. If you like this, definitely read the book if you haven't already. Its a quick read too; for some reason "Blood Meridian" took me much longer to plough through than "No Country" - a lot more dense and searching I guess; but both novels are required Cormac McCarthy.
Yeah, that's great scene. I'm putting No Country as a close 2nd behind "Millers Crossing", maybe my favorite movie of 1990's.
I loved this scene also, although you are missing a large portion of it. The discussion of how the gas station owner came to live there.
are you kidding? this movie was so boring. and the ending was terrible. i was so disappointed. this movie tried so hard to be artsy, it was so slow.
