Keith Olbermann - Special Comment
Now that was one hell of a 'Special Comment'. George W. Bush should be impeached, no skip that, he ought to be criminally prosecuted and serve some serious time in the Big House. I like it, from the White House to the Big House.

I like it, from the White House to the Big House.
Not in America today, I'm afraid.
Rule of Law, R.I.P.
MIKHAIL KRYZHANOVSKY - US PRESIDENT DE FACTO
Ladies and gentlemen ! Do you know that Mikhail Kryzhanovsky, KGB superspy, the author of the "White House Special Handbook or How to Rule the World in the 21st Century" is the US president de facto ? Do you know that our great presidents, Clinton and now - Bush, rule America in strict accordance to his instructions ? Open GOOGLE - great surprise for all of us !Nice words, but his special comments get less and less moving as I further find out that he is nothing but a lapdog of the Democratic party, just like how Orally points out.
Bush Sr. was interviewed yesterday (Sunday) by Chris Wallace on Fox. They were watching footage of how American soldiers treated prisoners with respect in The Gulf War (it’s about 7 minutes in) when Bush Sr. became very emotional, choking back his tears. If you watch it, I think you’ll agree that Bush Sr. exposes his extreme disappointment with how his son has let US torture policy deteriorate. (Wallace quickly tries to lead Bush in another direction).

If you believe anything that comes out of Orally's mouth then you yourself have lost your credibility.
Just b/c Keith speaks his own personal views it does not make him a lap dog. The important point is, that when he inputs his opinion, he marks it clearly as an opinion. He dosen't try to skew the news to his views like those at Faux News
Jef, thanks for the link. It is amazing the contrast between Father and Son. While I never agreed with the first Gulf War (it was for oil and for protection of the Saudis), I do admit that Bush Sr. surrounded himself with real men that were able to plan and execute their war strategy. Cheney was probably slapped down a few times by Baker, Powell (when he had some balls), Scowcroft and the rest.
I love how Wallace says that Bush Sr. had "good" men in Cheney and Baker but then Bush Sr. responds that he took their advice and then turned to Scowcroft to get his opinion. I imagine that even back then Cheney was for invading Iraq. As for how emotional he got about the behavior of US soldiers back then tells you a lot about how he probably feels about the current situation. Still, he cannot be proud of his son's job. As a father, I know it is something you cannot admit publicly especially when your wife is the one who controls the family. I really detest Barbara Bush for giving us this piece of shit and for pretending she is just a nice old granny.
If expecting america not to torture, not to appoint political hacks, to be accountable to rule of law, is equal to "being a democratic party lapdog", I am afraid American Democracy is not long for this world.
A lapdog for the Democrats? He was critical of Dianne Fienstein's and Chuck Schumer's support for Mukasey.

Here's what Olbermann said. And it needs to be said. He's the only person on television who is speaking up. I'm surprised that his show hasn't been cancelled as was Phil Donahue's show (the only voice of dissent on television leading up the war in Iraq)
