Ack! Rampant browser crashing video!
Letterman has a 3-year-old? How old is he??
Letterman is 60. So he kinda started late with his 3 year old.
Seriously. He could have a 3-year-old grandkid easily (28 is probably even slightly above average for having a first kid)
I want a Stephen T Colbert award! Heck, Norm, you should have one before I get mine. Who's got one to give to the site??
HAH! gypsy sister, I just bought the book a couple of hours ago and have 12! Take that!
But on this clip: I was surprised that it wasn't more interesting. Letterman didn't seem too into it, which ruins the interview for me . . colbert was good, but not at his best.
Two of the people I respect most in the media, just don't do very well in an interview together.
Colin:
He didn't start at the age of 60 with the three-year old. He started at the age of 57 with a newborn. Scott

I like Dave a lot, but whenever people mention what a good interviewer he is, I think of pieces like this. Here's Colbert -- very funny, able and willing to talk about whatever you want -- and did Dave ask one question that you yourselves might have wanted to ask him? "How was your summer?" Isn't he embarrassed to always lead with such nonsense? Granted, it's to set up a little routine by Colbert, but still. Also, it seems to me that Colbert would warrant coming back to after the commercial -- but apparently Dave doesn't think so. It was funny and all right for what it was, but I gotta agree with Dan L.'s opinion.
Colbert was expecting a free ride and the usual suck up reception but Letterman really owned his ass!
Short excerpt of Colbert's book.
It's really nice to see Colbert be himself and not be the O'Reilly alter ego.....he is really funny even without writing......
Letterman did not seem to be on his game - you're right.
