Mitt withdraws from Presidential race

Of course, GW has been an absolute bonanza for OBL and another rabid, Bible thumpin' Republican is his fondest dream.

Only a Republican candidate can protect the free world from an impotent threat. That's the party line at least. Seems paradoxical but is really just plain stupid. It will make an excellent statement to use when the OBL bogeyman is used during the election.

Besides not trusting anything that the government tells me anymore, the thing that has me wondering about the new bin Laden tape is his beard color. In some images/tapes it's gray in places, which makes since because he's getting old. In this new tape it's all brown/black from what I can tell. I don't know if Islam allows for its followers to use hair dye or not, but I would guess not if I had to.

I don't know if the conspiracy people (or anyone else) has addressed this already. I don't proclaim to be a conspiracy theorist, myself.

Militant Al’Qaeda leaders condemned the speech as “soft” and “obviously written by Bush speechwriters.”

“He forgot the funny,” said Deputy Operations Chief and Prom Committee Chairman Ayman “Ay, Mon!” al-Zawahiri in an angry internet rant posted this evening to YouTube. “Where was the Rain of Fire? Where was the Vengeful Serpent that will bite the heads and genitals of the infidels? Those are show-stoppers, that’s comedy gold.”
