That was too clever for such a scrawny wanker. I think Uncle Andy was behind all of this. Go Uncle Andy!
This show is terrific! Nice to know it's anti-religion (or at least anti-fundamentalist christianity), too. I just discovered it a few episodes ago, so I have some fun catching up to do.
I was sad to see U-Turn get offed, though. He was fucking hilarious. I never thought a drive-by shooting could be so funny.

I had a moment like this in my English class when I refused to spell "Negros" on a spelling test. Maybe the teacher completely hated me, but he was an asshole anyway. I only wish I spoke up more about my middle school being a civil rights shithole.
Spaceribs, had you spelt the word as "Negros," you would have missed it anyway. If you hadn't played the role of Mr. Defiant and had decided instead to prepare for the test, you would know that the proper spelling is "Negroes," with an -es suffix. Either way, you were right to resist spelling such a poorly chosen word for a middle school spelling test. When and where did you go to middle school?
You're right Ian, but as usual with English, it seems impossible to generalize. For example,
egos
echoes
heroes
archipelagos or archipelagoes
halos or haloes
The last two seem odd with e's to me, but so says my dictionary.
Sorry, about the off-topic digression, couldn't resist... :)
And then there's the infamous gaffe made by Dan Quayle who didn't realize that the singular form of 'potatoes' is 'potato'.
ugg, well this isn't the first time I've made ironic spelling mistakes. Obviously I knew that, but since I've been in artschool things haven't been the same.
Anyway I went to Perry Junior High in New Hartford NY (outside of Utica NY), and I would say about 2000/2001.
