A nice clip of Richard Dawkins at the Randi Convention in Las Vegas in 2005. It includes several nice anecdotes about Douglas Adams. (tip to Big Daddy Malcontent)

Damn, if Bill-O hates it, I have to go see this film. I'm sure Mr. Damon and everyone with the production company are grateful: there is nothing like condemnation from Bill-O to make box office lines a little longer.
This man so so brilliant. So sad that he have to use time to fight "extreme naive" faith heads.
It's a dirty job and he knows that somebody's gota do it, and I'm just glad it's someone as articulate & entertaining as him.
We atheist shudd stand up more. Lets make firms/businesses that only hires atheist and so on....
Of course the faith head will cry out discrimination... but then we will show them their side of the "goddness"
The conference is actually called The Amaz!ng Meeting. More info at amazingmeeting.com.
Douglas Adams... Let me guess - another Brit? Look, these people are the MASTERS of religious persecution, what you hold out as such perls of wisdom are the remnants of this era and mentality. Your people escaped this bulls**t to form a different country, and formed you have. In US, religious tolerance IS the backbone of pluralist society.
BTW in England, religious high schools were found to be academically more successful, so atheist parents take their kids to Sunday service in a church near that school to earn cookie points from the priest, so that he recommends their son/daughter for admission.
skorsky, your comment was utter garbage. You do not need to 'earn cookie points' with the local priest to get your child into a religious school. There is a very simple way to get your child accepted and its the same thing that has been used for centuries to get your way with the church, its called DOLLARS. I really dont know why you made that nonsense up, but you arent fooling anyone. We all know how it works, religion is a human invention, good try though.
