Andy, look at what the FCC chases and tags. The TV and movie cultures are saturated with gratuitous violence, title-only sex scandals and black-or-white race-based family shows, but don't think for a second about tapping that bong with your naked girlfriend or cursing at the police when they confiscate it. Why couldn’t Brown be “outed” sooner? I guess when you’re 91 years old it doesn’t really matter. If he were cute, upwardly mobile and doing the gay cruises and participating in most of the circuit parties THEN it would be news. It’s easy to be a self-loathing gay man when you’re in your nineties.
