Einstein's God
It seems to me that the idea of a personal God is an anthropological concept which I cannot take seriously. I feel also not able to imagine some will or goal outside the human sphere.—Albert Einstein

Christopher Hitchens references this quote, and the commonly misused Einstein view on God, in God Is Not Great. That is where I happened upon it first.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
Interesting. I've never seen that before.
@ vonmeth:
I think your quote might be misattributed. Unless Epicurus was writing about the Greek gods 300 years before the Jesus?
