Rocky vs. Hannity

As you watch Sean Hannity's presentation keep in mind the topic of the debate:

Is the policy of the United State of America in Iraq producing successful results or is it failing, and is President George W. Bush discharging the duties of his office in a capable fashion, or should he be impeached?

Why does he keep calling him Ross? Is that one of his names? This whole debate was pretty ugly with all the heckling...

his phone going off ... what a jackass.

calling him Ross

It is his name but he goes by Rocky it was part of Hannity's mocking personal attack that he carried on throughtout the debate.

One tactic I repeatedly observe Hannity employ, is that he shrinks from direct debate with the person whom he is debating. He avoids debating the person there engaging in debate with him.

He's weak on relevant facts with which to debate Rocky's arguments, and so he introduces other people's arguments (or at least his version of other people's arguments) into the debate, and debates those arguments.

Someone has got to call him on his cowardice.

Something like this: "It's you and my in the ring Sean ... why are you trying to pick a fight with someone else? It's just you. me. and the facts - don't try crawling out of the ring on me now!"

something like that I think would be nice. Hannity really is a coward, and their are polite ways of exposing his cowardice.

i didnt really here many debate tactics, just emotional appeals. propaganda 101. saddam was bad! dont believe me? ill prove it! 911 was bad! etc etc.

hear* i meant.

IIRC, it's called "ad hoc, ergo procter hoc"

That's how sean 'argues', attack 'libs' while wrapping himself in the american flag.

If he gave one example of how rocky was wrong, i'd start to call this a debate, and not WWF.

The best defense is good offense. Rather than defend Bush, Hannity attack liberals.

I think he nailed Hillary. The rest was crap.

re:Hillary That could've been done with any politician. I have seen it done with Bush many times (a video where he contradicts himself over and over again...)

Come on! Give the Daily Show its credit for doing the old Bush v. new Bush first (I think it's safe to say). Hannity is the first I know of on the right to do anything like it.

Thank you for posting this. I was interested in seeing his perspective. I haven't watched it when I watched Rocky I was wondering what Hannity's presentation was like.

Now that it is here I can make an informed decision but most likely i'll just get pissed half way through it and want to turn the channel like I do after watching 2 minutes of Bill O'Reilly.
