Does anyone else get the really creepy vibe from the Comey testimony. I mean, I knew the Bush administration was low, but exploiting a sick man in an attempt to break constitutional law. How is this not treason, they are attacking what it is to be American.

Just a reminder to anyone who reads the News & Observer article about Hitchens' debate in Raleigh with a Baptist minster. The N&O reported that the minister held his own, but that was not my opinion nor was it reflected in the response from the audience. Hitchens slamdunked the debate and the minister almost served as his straight-man. Just to paraphrase a small bit:
Minister: God is all love
Hitchens: But John Calvin agrees with Jesus that there is an everlasting hell for nonbelievers, right?
Minister: Um, right
Hitchens: So your god of love is sending most of the people in this room, including me, to burn. And he didn't even give the Chinese a chance until 100 years ago.
Minister: Um, right. But god is love!
Cheers for tipping your toe into the 9/11 Conspiracy ocean!
I don't believe that Sylverstein's "pull it" quote proves there was a controlled demoltion, I am more inclined to consider the factual evidence such as the pools of molten metal found below building 7 and the NASA air plane thermal images which showed temperatures in concert with molten metal for 6 weeks following 7's collapse.
Sylverstein could very well have meant pull it with cables, I know nothing about that, but I am surprised that in the last 7 years he hasn't responded to or followed up to the controversy surrounding his statement (to my knowledge).
A recent event which has added fire to the Sylerstein "pull it" statement is what John Kerry recently said regarding building 7 during an appearance at Book People in Austin, Texas. He suggested himself that to his knowledge building 7 was taken down in a controlled fashion.
"I do know that that wall, I remember, was in danger and I think they made the decision based on the danger that it had in destroying other things-- that they did it in a controlled fashion."

Again it is inconclusive and doesn't prove anything, maybe he also is referring to taking something down with ropes in a controlled fashion, but it has caused a stir.
Does anybody have any info on the BBC announcing (on live TV) the collapsing of building 7 before it happened?

BBC Reported Building 7 Collapse 20 Minutes Before It Fell?
Are we talking about building 6 or 7?
BTW, whether or not WTC7 was demolished has almost no weight regarding the collapse of the towers. WTC7 contained much sensitive material. A ready demolition contingency of WTC7, although seemingly excessive, doesn't imply conspiracy on 9/11. (I believe gov't complicity, but not on this weak evidence.)
Linda...
Is the video of that hitchens discussion available on the net?
According to this writer at Mother Jones, Hitch's facts aren't always straight re. certain religious practices.
WTC was 47 stories tall and came down in 6.6 seconds vs 6.0 seconds freefall.
There is zero evidence of anyone atttaching cables to it and the government has not made that claim.
I think that the author of the article is either confused or is trying to confuse others.
Thanks Free Truth. Pan caking does not happen nearly as fast as many people appear to think. The most extreme predictions I've seen, made by physicists, not journalists, is .5 seconds per floor. Meaning that without special assistance, the building could not possibly fall in less than twenty three seconds and even that is considered an extreme prediction. Most engineers predicted a considerably longer fall time.
We are not dealing with something at the microcosmic level. There are no special physical laws for this particular situation.
I do not have a specific theory about what happened that day but I know that to accept the official story, as it exists, you have to throw out some basic natural physical laws. I don't do that for god and I don't do it for anyone or anything else.
Still, I don't claim to know the answers to the many questions still unanswered. It's way too bad that so much important evidence was never examined.
Politics has severely hampered scientific investigation. This isn't a conspiracy theory, it's just a big question mark.
The NSA scandal is really sickening. The Bush administration signed off on an illegal program without the authorization of the justice department.

Here's a link to a paper written by one of the handful of demolition companies involved in the cleanup of the rubble:

It mentions the "pull" quote among other things (and is very readable).
And here's a more in depth explanation for "pull it" (with pictures this time):
