Iacocca has nine Cs for us: Curiousity, Creative, Communicate, Character, Courage, Conviction, Charisma, Competent, Crisis. He talks about how lacking Bush (and other leaders) are in these categories. But he missed at least one: Candid. Interestingly, he didn't think it necessary to include Christian.
...and he forgot a few that definitely do apply ro BushCo: Corrupt. Craven. Cowardice.
What should we do about it? How about Castigation and then Castration?
Madeleine Bunting's article "The New Atheists loathe religion far too much to plausibly challenge it" is some of the most retarded crap I've read in a while...
She complains about atheists being hysterical, scornful and hateful, before proceeding to compare atheistic criticism of religion to the fucking Inquisition!? How's that for hysterical? Then she claims that atheists loathe religion too much to understand it, before rounding up her argument by saying of "The God Delusion" -- "it may have sold in the thousands but has it won any souls?" WTF?
Is this a "proper" article, or just the mad ramblings of a retarded "letter to the editor" kinda deal?
Yeah, I was about to say the same thing. Another piece of crap that she pulls is the ubiquitous quoting out of context, of both Dawkins and Harris. Of Harris, especially, she seems to portray him as an inquisidor. The nerve of that idiot.
Not to mention the fact that Bunting uses the exact same tactic she used before which was completely addressed IN The God Delusion!
Sure you've seen it before, but here's PZ Myers on a previous article by here making the exact same points that refute this article -- down to her pathetic appeal to believing in belief and being happy is good so religion must stay. Notice the time of this: March 27th, 2006. Things haven't changed at all in over a year with the woman.
