...Scary. And what's worse, one of them will probably be elected.

Nah, I don't think the Republicans have a chance.

Tough talk from pencil neck political snake oil salesmen. Disgusting actually, a veritable feeding frenzy based on a TV script. Yeah, I'll spill more blood than the rest of these guys, I'll torture more, bomb more, and kill more brown folks that these other guys put together. WWE style campaigning.

For those who don't understand why much of the world thinks America is dangerously insane, just watch this clip a few times. They had nothing to say but "Kill, Kill, Kill, I want to kill." And they want to be president.

Each trying to out do the other in their willingness to carry on and even escalate the dangers already created by this carelessly blood thirsty attitude.

Mitt Romney has the moral principles of an amoeba, none at all. What a bunch of useless people, willing to sell their souls and first born to get elected, without a care for the consequences of their stupid words.

The amazing part is that all of them sounded like they were running on the "Continue the Legacy of Bush" platform.

I guess you got to be an amoral sociopath to get noticed in the Republican party.

I still think that guy who said "I'm looking for Jack Bauer" was perhaps the smartest answer to the hypothetical question.

im glad maher gave some credit to ron paul for being the (relatively) sensible one among them

@none, you'd think Bill Maher would show Ron Paul a little more love. After all he is the only guy from both parties that is against the failed war on drugs and for the legalization of marijuana.

edit: I take that back. Mike Gravel said, “I would legalize marijuana.”

He did. He spent a couple of minutes praising him after the video clip ends.

its calculated, and its scripted, the theme: FEAR. As long as americans are scared, they wont question what is going on, not here, not out there. Keep americans afraid, keep them angry (at outsiders), keep them distracted, and above all make the voters as apathetic and as fatalistic as possible by presenting them "choices" that are identical in every way on the issues that actually matter. Welcome to american politics.

@ Susceptor, Not just American politics, but world politics.

What don't these people get about the fact that Jack Bauer is a fucking FICTIONAL character??? Oy.

kiefer sutherland objects to the idea that bauer is a republican

I object to the idea that Sutherland is an actor.
