Wow, first, "Dead". Now, "Gone". It's a pretty not-too-bad week. Gonzales on Friday? Here's hoping...
Rummie, Bolton and Wolfie...one by one, they neocons fall... http://img246.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wolfieyg9.jpg
This is starting to feel like the last 20 minutes of the Godfather movies, when everyone gets smacked. Wolfowitz AND Falwell in one week! Hello mah dahling! Hello mah sweetheart! Hello.....
I was kind of hoping he would stay on, as kind of a paranormal universe kind of thing where no one ever has to leave no matter how egregious their conduct. For example Gonzales is staying on, apparently that was not extreme enough - but it was so outrageously extreme!
What boggles my mind with these fuckers is they are so dis-honorable. I'm not that old, but I remember, for example, Cyrus Vance resigning as Secretary of State when he disagreed with Jimmy Carter. Does no one resign as a matter of honor anymore? These fuckers are NEVER wrong.
Btw, I think I stepped in Wolfowitz this morning and had to use a twig to scrape him off my shoe.
Dude, on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being not so extreme and 10 being extremely extreme, I give this a 9.5!
Jeepers Mr. Jenson, it’s so hard to keep track of all these silly villains! Here’s a helpful guide for the kids to follow:

Bon vent! I hope we never hear of this man again.
Oh man if Gonzales resigns tomorrow, I am going to have to find myself a god to believe in. That'd be too great.
"Oh man if Gonzales resigns tomorrow, I am going to have to find myself a god to believe in."
I have to second this. Go, god, get rid of Gonzales!
Well, I've been fired lots of times, and I know how bad it feels, so I want to help the poor guy out. So here's a job hunting suggestion, Wolfie, as you take your paltry $375K severance payout and wonder how you're going to make ends meet: considere the education market. I hear the top spot at Liberty University just opened up...
What amazed me was that Ashcroft, the biggest dick (besides Dick himself) actually stood up to Gonzales and told him no to the spy program...thats amazing, the man still had integrity despite it all. (not to go off topic).
But ya, its been an interesting week. The sad thing however is that these people are figureheads, they are the guys who push the propaganda and the plan, but they are not the ones that are really in charge. I just dont think we have to celebrate the fall of figureheads because the problems are institutional.
Just one historic example: Nixon resigned, but Kissinger and his policies in Cambodia, etc remained in place and the policy of the government did not change at all. The only thing that changed was the figurehead at the top.
Bon vent! I hope we never hear of this man again.
We shoud be so lucky. Before you get too carried away, remember that Tom DeLay slithered out of Washington and less than a year later he was on the talk show circuit hawking his shitty book and even NPR interviewed the sleazy son of a bitch.
These guys are literally shameless and I won't feel safe a from single one of them or from the havoc they've wrought on our system of government until a goodly number of them are impeached (if still in office), convicted, and are rotting in jail for their crimes.
One thing, Susceptor, about the government in Nixon's time: Congress had balls. They limited executive powers to go to war, ensuring future president's wars would have come to fruition solely through shared responsibility of the congress and the president. Bush has gotten so much freedom to do what he sees fit, but nobody's able to hold him responsible. It's sad to see that in such a small amount of time, we proved the wisdom behind the lessons learn a mere thirty years ago.
