Susan Haack
Susan Haack is the author of Defending Science - within Reason: Between Scientism And Cynicism
In this conversation with D.J. Grothe, Haack explores the values of science, and addresses its critics, both supernaturalists and paranormalists on the one hand, and post-modernists and feminist critics on the other hand. She also defends science as being continuous with common sense, explores whether science and religion are compatible, and talks about whether or not science can ever have any relevance to ethics.

I support all that she says. But DAMN she is boring to my ears. Snorefest.
She is isn't she? I found her book one of the best on the subject I've read. I like the idea that science is common sense with some protections built in to cover for our inadequacies.
