The Don Imus moment had two parts: the offense and the punishment for the offense. Limbaugh has been doing the first part for years. For the second part to happen, there will have to be a large, sustained public outcry. That won't happen in this case because Obama is not the same kind of target as the Rutgers women were. He won't generate the same kind of sympathy and outrage.

Guys, you GOTTA look at that last link above: Pat’s “Worm Dirt.” This is one of the more revolting things I've heard for a while... Lt. Col Ralph Kauzlarich (who was the officer who made the fatal decision to split Pat Tillman's unit up, resulting in the friendly fire incident that killed him, and also arranged the initial coverup), has repeatedly expressed the opinion that the reason why Tillman's family won't let the issue "rest," is because they aren't Christians...
If they were Christians, Pat Tillman would be in heaven now -- but since they are atheist, he's now just worm dirt. The dude actually said these things in an interview with ESPN.
