Scarborough Country w/Joe Scarborough

kudos to Scarborough for putting up a well made montage of opposing arguments. he has done a lot recently to make himself more likeable on the left... ive seen him on both the daily show, and colbert report... and he was funny, charasmatic, and likeable each time
Wow, Maher prepared and quick-thinking yet again. Try to get him to say the economy's good? Nice try, but it's about the "time bomb" we're leaving for the future. And bringing up that bit of WWII history was great.
The Democratic nominee should bring Maher on as an advisor, perhaps to prepare for debates, or as a speechwriter. He cuts through the crap and I've never seen him thrown by a question. Considering the fact that all the frontrunners are senators and therefore have the senatorial speaking style engrained in them, some speech training from Maher would be invaluable. Whether he would have the patience for the job is a different question...
Maher did pretty good -- I like the idea of him as a Democratic adviser and speech writer. That's a great idea.
Did anyone noticed how they splashed that stuff up there, while Maher was talking: "Bill Maher rants on Bush and the Iraq war" and then "Coming up: Danny Bonaduce on "Idol" sans 'Jaya" -- really showing off their creds as a serious news organization... Jeebus.
if bill would have read more newspapers he would have known this: http://www.realcities.com/mld/krwashington/16760690.htm
he could have cited that in response to scarborough's first question about the economy
I love bill meher, he's clever and provocative in so many ways, but every time I see him I want to do something, and come to the conclusion I can't do anything.
I mean, i've vote, i've protested, but it seems to me this medievalization of america is impossible to curb.
Maher:
"What if something happens over here that we need Defense for?"
Yup, I noticed the Bonaduce blurb. Amazing, these people.

True, he could've cited it but I think he got the point across simply by saying: "well the economy's doing good if you're rich", and simply implying that everyone else is worse off.
The economy is fine . . . for right-wing media whores like Scumborough . . .
