Hilarious... Except for the fact that they used Larry the Cableguy (you know, that Southern comedian from uh, Nebraska) -- I saw a representative stand in the US Capitol, arguing that we need to send more bodies and more money to Iraq... She didn't say "Stay The Course!" She didn't use words like "Resolve" or try to belittle the opposition with phrases like "Cut and Run."
No, sir. She actually said, "Get Her Done" -- mind you, she didn't say "Git 'Er Dun," which implies self-deprecation.
We seem to be moving beyond the state were anyone breathing through their nose will be accused of elitism and intellectual snobbery -- now, "stupid" is actually becoming a positive attribute. I don't think this is an exaggeration. Look at the Shrub: you can't rise to the absolute pinnacle of power while being stupid -- but he has successfully done so, while pretending to be stupid.
