I'm sorry, but just because something is on YouTube doesn't make it special. That guy isn't a particularly good speaker, and his point is not a new one...so I don't see why ou posted it here. Most of the stuff you post is great, which is why I was a bit disappointed with that. :P
regarding the MEMRI link:
whoah. that was trippy.
is that what passes for humour out there? if so, then quite possibly, the west will never understand the middle east.
Jay, I'm compelled to respond to your comment, as I was the one who suggested that video to Norm. I entirely agree with you that just because something is on YouTube doesn't make it special. Most of the stuff I find on there is absolute rubbish in my opinion. OGM, however, frequently posts on the subject of atheism and I suspect a good number of us readers appreciate such postings. This is why I suggested Gisburne2000 videos to Norm. Comedy is so subjective that I find it useless to defend the video in terms of comedic value. All I can say is I found it absolutely hilarious and thought some other atheist readers of this site would, too. I'm sorry that having that link on the site was a real bother for you, fortunately there were plenty of other things Norm posted that day! If you have time, I invite you to check out his other videos, particularly the three-part series on Noah's Ark. I do find that his style has to grow on you, so you may still not like it at all. I am happy to see that Norm posted it and I hope he doesn't take any more heat for having done so.
SecaMode, I must say the humor was lost on me entirely. It seemed like he was stopping to read his screen fairly regularly and just wasn't that good. I will give some of his other videos a chance though, could have just been having a bad day.
It really wasn't that much of a bother and Norm does post great stuff, I love this blog. I just didn't see what the point of that particular one was, it just didn't seem very worthwhile to me, and below the standard of most of the stuff posted here. Just trying to provide some helpful reader feedback.
