EndChristmas.com is also a good one found on the Blasphemy Challenge website.
On EndChristmas.com, there is a video I think all of you should watch. It'll make the holidays extra special.
Hatred, even if it's the kind you like, agree with and you think is relevant in your or anyone else's life, is still hatred.
Posts like this make you look like the hardline religious zealots you hate so much.
Ha! It is not a question of, or an outpouring of hatred. It only seems that way if you represent a special class of people who believe they and their very public beliefs may not be questioned or challenged.
Given that the believers in America never cease to challenge and question anything they wish to, whether they have the slightest understanding of it or not, I find it refreshing to see people who question religious illusions speaking up. Even when in silly ways like the blasphemy contest.
In terms of the hatred implied, how is "I deny the holy spirt" more or less hate filled than all the Xians who who make their "I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour" shout out, at every opportunity?
Me thinks thou doest protest too much.
I'm no fan of religion, believe me, but I have to admit this seems like a stupid publicity stunt. These videos aren't going to change people's minds, only maybe piss off some Christians.
Give me a rational debate about theism by Dawkins or Dennett any day over these provocative 1 minute Youtube clips of many people saying the same thing. Oh well, enjoy your free DVD...
Thomas - bingo.
It strikes me as an obvious double standard to pretend that this little "contest" is anywhere near the amount of religious-speak we all have to endure - esp THIS time of year.
How early does the xmas consumerism orgy start now? After July 4th? how far into the imaginary war on xmas are we?
Please.
This isn't even a drop in the ocean of religious indoctintration that this soceity is drenched in.

Hatred of beliefs? You betcha. Criticism of belief is not the same as being prejudice simply because it is people who are meant to be treated with respect not their beliefs. We don't give the same respect to historical beliefs nor political ones, why should we bend over backwards for religious beliefs? Your statements make no sense. Denying absurdities don't make one a zealot. It's called sanity my friend. Wake up and smell the bullshit.
I think that intolerance of others beliefs (or lack thereof)is widely spread and no one group can claim to be free of it.
Due to my domestic circumstances I'm trapped between those who believe in God and those who dont and I am forced to listen to that endless argument over and over.
On the same topic Channel 4 in the UK are showing a documentary called "The Trouble with Atheism" http://www.channel4.com/culture/microsites/C/canyoubelieve_it/index.html I understand it puts forward that Atheism shares much more than it would care to admit with fundamentalism.
Amongst others it features people like R. Dawkins so should be worth a look if you can catch the repeat early Friday morning.
