hahahahahahaahahaha!
What if I'm not a patriotic American? What should happen to me? We were here before you pale shadows and dark shadows you enslaved came here to make a sprawling suburban puke of everything everywhere. Encircled the globe with gratuitous military bases, polluted the air with poison and pimping whore music, booming Rap Crap, Zapp, Zepp, etc., etc.
What if in the 1930s some Germans were not hyperpatriotic? In the times leading up to the Nazis?
Were they wrong?
Huh?
Shame on you patriotic Americans! Shame!
Foxism is fascism!
And what if I do think the world would be better off without America? I love the land but I would love it a lot more if a plague or disease of some sort eliminated 90% of the people. Go back to Europe, Africa, where ever. Get off our continent! Imperialist Windpipes!
Manifest destiny my a__! Take your religion with you, take ours too!
Scoot!
Scram!
Skeddadle!
Alternatively, straighten up, fly right and quit waving your hideous flag in our faces. We don't like it. Transition to a humane world government with self-determined autonomous regions. Support Science, not superstition. Quit electing Macacques like Bush and Reagan.
Grow up! Not just fat (yeah, your food sucks too)!
If you don't you will have a chance to find out about the double-edge of patriotism the hard way. As slippery as oil, hard as diamonds.
Ted Turner is welcome to stay, and Kennewick Man.
Why's it say scarborough country at the bottom?
Casting aspersions on patriotism is just as shallow and despicable as using it to justify every stupid decision you make.
There is nothing wrong with being patriotic. Loving where you are from is no more harmful than loving your family. That there are people who honestly believe they have to hate and ridicule their country to show how smart they are - that's just sad.
Patriotism is a stupid lie.
Be proud of an ideal, an idea, some form of morality or philosophy.
But be proud of a country or race? Well... that's going to cause problems...
