Responsibility
Living in Utah, you can be certain that your congressional delegation will embarrass you on a regular basis. This time it's Representative Chris Cannon, who is always quick to regurgitate the GOP talking points.
"These kids are actually precocious kids," Cannon, R-Utah, told KSL Radio's "Nightside" program. "It looks like, uh, maybe this one e-mail is a prank where you had a bunch of kids sitting [around] egging this guy on."Yes Chris, you can be responsible. When your party discovers a 'naughty' person in your midst remove him don't cover for him. When a republican is accused of a crime, he takes 'responsiblity.' He asks his mom to pay the fine and the media to serve his time, and he calls that having family values.
Cannon, who has defended House Speaker Dennis Hastert's handling of the scandal, also said Thursday that there is not much to do other than educate kids to the dangers of going online.
"Frankly, this is the responsibility of the parents," Cannon said. "If you get online, you may find people who are creepy. There are creepy people out there who will do and say creepy things. Avoid them. That's what you have to do. And maybe we can say that a little more to the pages."

Cannon is just parroting the speech made by Mr. Dobson with Focus on Family.
I do not think Cannon has spoken an original thought. He just put someone else's foot in his mouth.
