Thanks for posting the link to "Before You Enlist". Very powerful. I wish I had seen something like that before joining the military during Vietnam.
I'm old enough now that I see those people, I hear the ages, and I weep for all the slaughtered children.
A twenty year old sacrifice to greed. That's a life that has just barely begun. A life time of possibility just wiped off like dirt.
Lied to, bullied, manipulated, used up and tossed away like yesterday's tampax.
The Secretary of Defense, Rumsfeld is quoted referring to wounded vets as a "drain on national security."
For the religious among us who search for evil. There it is. Evil, plain and simple. What does that say for those who support this?
