Not to mention that the fedral fiscal year goes from October through September (ending on the 30th of that month).

Does anyone else think Bush did that deliberately? He seemed to emphasise it in an odd way...

Sometimes I wonder if Bush fakes his stupidity to hide his genius evil plots. Phil Hartman of SNL had a skit where Reagan was a micro-managing dictator everytime no one was looking. Naa - Bush screws up even his evil plans. A genuine dumbass he is.

i for one welcome our new dumbass overlords.

I never know how many days in a month :S

is that u gw?

Is Bush really stupid? Well, yes and no. Calculated stupidity, yes. But calculated or not, Bush gets 12 out of 10 for plain old-fashioned dead-from-the-neck-down stupidity.
If you haven't read Lakoff, check him out here: http://www.rockridgeinstitute.org/people/lakoff

My, my, the things we're left with to laugh over when this man has the complete control to jail any one of us indefinitely for no truly good reason.

That is definitely not a deliberate mistake. Also, most people don't know how many days in a month but February is normally easy

That comment isn't that wrong as it seems. At least here in Germany some banks calculates w/ 30 days per monthand 360 days per year in certain applications (interest calculation and the like). So, if someone says his fiscal year ends on Feb 30th, it just sounds odd.

Maybe the terrorists have infiltrated his speechwriting team.

Its always interesting how the Evil Genuis messes up his own plans. Dr. Evil would be proud. I think the V.P. has a direct Microphone to Bush that he tells him what to do. And so people won't notice that hes older than moses. He periodically tells him dumb shit to say.
This is just another example of showing, how this country has been turned into a joke to the rest of the World.

Did anyone consider here that David Letterman's writers figured the majority of viewers wouldn't get the joke unless they prefaced it with how many days are actually in February. Make fun of Dubya all you want, obviously the Letterman people don't trust the brains of their own viewers.

I say we tell him his "signing statements" are legal, but that he only gets to add them on Feb 30.

What you aren't aware is that George W Bush is the second coming of Jesus Christ, no? So as the son of God, he can choose any number of days in a month! In other words, he's always right. See how simple that is? ;)

Does anyone know why he's so religious and loves to push his religious morality into his presidential decisions? It's because he knows he's going to take us all to hell. Let us pray.

It's too bad people can't just laugh about a funny slip-up in a speech.

it is just a slip-up, but that doesnt mean its not indicative of something more. i think his administration is not all that competent, but i also think its glaringly obvious that a lot of bush is an act, calculated to win the support of anti-intellectuals. he's not even from texas, hes just as much an "elite" as kerry is, but his pr was better.
Posted by: Anonymous | October 27, 2006 12:40 PM
Just one more slip-up to add to the pile. It's hardly worth acknowledging them any more.

He's just the comic relief of the current state of affairs. Bush is nothing more then a distraction for the American people. He doesn't do anything except wave his hands wildly say stupid things and get pies in the face, so that everyone says, "LOOK AT HIM!!!" Instead of saying "LOOK AT THE HORRIBLE THINGS WE ARE DOING TO THE WORLD!!!".
(emphasis, mine)

Well, they voted Dubya into office. Twice.
